Seminar in Project Management

教育目標 Course Target

The objective of this course is to help students better understand project management research covers nice key areas of project management body of knowledge from a managerial, non-technical perspective. Course also covers advanced project management topics necessary for implementation of and excellence in project management. Topics include human resource management, procurement management, contract administration, risk management, project leadership, communications management and an introduction to program management. Addressed topics are detailed in the schedule of the course.A seminar is not a lecture, although presentations will be made throughout the course. Generally an analysis of the readings will be used to guide our discussion, but the format will be free-flowing and may vary considerably. In a seminar we collectively share ownership and responsibility for the success of the course. Each week, student should spend 20-30 minutes presenting the main idea(s) and contribution of the assigned papers. All other students must prepare at least one “intelligent” issue to be discussed in the class.
