本課程的教育目標是培養學生將電機電子與資訊工程等技術應用於智慧型醫療電子照護儀器發展，並結合無線資源將所學運用於老人居家照護服務。本課程規劃以跨領域整合為基礎，以「生物物理」、「生醫感測」、「無線感測」為主題，訓練同學設計生理訊號感測電子儀器用於智慧照護系統。課程將搭配實作實驗，讓學生設計腦波圖感測電路，數位體溫感測電路，電子血壓計與超音波血液流速計等。感測生理訊號則利用Arduino嵌入式系統分析並提供遠距醫療照護應用。在遠距健康照護方面，將訓練同學以WiFi雲端為平台建構無線生醫訊號傳輸網路，實踐智慧健康醫療照護目標。

The educational goal of this course is to train students to apply technologies such as electrical and electronics and information engineering to the development of smart medical electronic care instruments, and to apply what they have learned to home care services for the elderly by combining wireless resources. This course plan is based on cross-domain integration and takes "Biophysics", "Biomedical Sensing" and "Wireless Sensing" as its themes to train students to design physiological signal sensing electronic instruments for use in smart care systems. The course will be paired with practical experiments to allow students to design electroencephalogram sensing circuits, digital body temperature sensing circuits, electronic blood pressure monitors and ultrasonic blood flow meters, etc. Sensing physiological signals uses Arduino embedded system to analyze and provide remote medical care applications. In terms of remote health care, students will be trained to build a wireless biomedical signal transmission network using the WiFi cloud as a platform to implement the goals of smart health care.
