本課程目標在於使學生能有基本的道德思考,主要以宋明理學為主,主要人物有船山,朱子等等,其中以心學與理學的論辯為主,主要以羅整菴與陽明,及歐陽南野的論辯,以見心學與理學的不同,也於此見到宋明理學的主要二大派系,從而對宋明理學有一定程度的理解。至於羅整菴是朱子學,但也反省朱子學,是一種從理學往氣學方向走的學派,於此則見到心學理學氣學,對宋明理學可有一定的了解。

The goal of this course is to enable students to have basic moral thinking. It mainly focuses on Neo-Confucianism in the Song and Ming Dynasties. The main figures include Chuanshan, Zhu Zi, etc. The main focus is on the debate between psychology and Neo-Confucianism. It mainly focuses on the debates between Luo Zheng'an and Yang Ming, and Ouyang Nanye to see the difference between psychology and Neo-Confucianism. Here we also see the two main factions of Neo-Confucianism in the Song and Ming Dynasties, so that we can have a certain understanding of Neo-Confucianism in the Song and Ming Dynasties. As for Luo Zheng'an, he is a scholar of Zhu Xi, but he also reflects on Zhu Xi's study, which is a school of thought that moves from Neo-Confucianism to Qi Studies. Here, he sees the Neo-Confucianism and Qi Studies, and can have a certain understanding of Neo-Confucianism of the Song and Ming Dynasties.
