詮釋學問題自古希臘時期起即已出現，但詮釋學的發展則是一直到史萊爾馬赫（Friedrich Schleiermacher）嘗試為其建立起一套一般性理論之後，才逐漸被哲學界所正視。詮釋學作為一門探究如何理解文本、語言以及理解本身的哲學學科，在20世紀下半葉更被諸多學科所關注與爭議之焦點，而成為當代哲學思潮中的一個研究重點。當代詮釋學曾圍繞著高達美（Hans-Georg Gadamer）的哲學詮釋學發生過幾場非常重要的論爭，本課程擬聚焦探討其中一場有關傳統權威與啟蒙批判的論戰，其主要涉入者為德國法蘭克福學派哲學家哈伯瑪斯(Jürgen Habermas)及阿佩爾(Karl-Otto Apel)，我們將一起研讀相關的文本，並討論其中牽涉到的哲學問題。The interpretation problem has emerged since ancient times, but the development of the interpretation is that it was gradually faced by the philosophical community until the establishment of a general theory until the establishment of a general theory for the establishment of a general theory.
