政治という概念の理解から始め、言語の政治、ジェンダーの政治といった関連する分野の概要と、その同時代的問題意識を探るとともに、自分自身の政治的意識を高めて、自律的な研究者を育成することが目標だ。そのためには、同時代的問題を具体的に分析しつつ、自分の立場を確認・作成していくというやりかたをしたい。具体的に何を問題として取り上げるかは、受講者と話し合いながら決めていく。

在全球化及多元文化高度滲透的今日，國與國或公與私的界線已日趨模糊，為因應此一趨勢，本課程的討論範圍將不僅限於國家、政府、議會、政黨等固有的公部門領域，也會將觸角延伸至歷史、社會、經濟、媒體、教育、家庭、社區等的政治周邊領域。

In today's world where globalization and multiculturalism are highly permeable, the boundaries between countries or between public and private have become increasingly blurred. In response to this trend, the scope of discussion in this course will not only be limited to the inherent public sector fields such as the country, government, parliament, and political parties, but will also extend its reach to surrounding political fields such as history, society, economy, media, education, family, and community.
