Course objectives
1. Explore literary genres and artistic characteristics, and master writing characteristics.
2. Encourage the creation and research of novels.
3. Long-form expert reading and research.
Course content
1. Discuss creation and construction theories by discussing works.
2. Research on the novels of Gao Xingjian and Eco.
3. Novel creation practice and plan writing.
課程概述 Course Description
當代長篇小說書寫越來越龐大，此文類蔚為主流，然其藝術特徵越來越模糊，其為長篇史詩的敘述藝術未能凸顯，藉理論與創作，建構新一代長篇小說美學。
Contemporary writing of novels is getting larger and larger, and this genre has become mainstream. However, its artistic characteristics are becoming increasingly blurred, and the narrative art of a long epic has not been highlighted. Through theory and creation, a new generation of novel aesthetics is constructed.
