此課程旨在訓練新聞從業人員與媒體公關人才，提供下標題技巧、採訪技巧、撰稿技巧、播報技巧，以及媒體公關稿要訣，修習此課程的同學將與每日發生的新聞事件產生緊密連接，在課程進行中預測當天午間新聞的前三條重大新聞，同學於學期末需編寫一份刊物與錄製一段新聞片段，並在條件允許下邀請頂尖新聞從業人員（主播或者資深記者）與同學分享實務經驗，由於此課程是媒體「實務課」，因此強烈建議選修此課程的同學，加修理論面的「媒體與政治」。

This course aims to train news from employees and media public talents, provide topics, visiting skills, writing skills, broadcasting skills, and media public disciplinary draft tips. Students who are practicing this course will closely connect with daily news events, and predict the first three major news in the afternoon of the day during the course. At the end of the school period, students need to write a journal and record a piece of news, and invite top news to share practical experience from professionals (hosts or experienced journalists) as permitted. Since this course is a "realistic course" of the media, it is strongly recommended that students who take this course add "media and politics" to repair the discussion.
