此課程旨在訓練新聞從業人員與媒體公關人才，提供下標題技巧、採訪技巧、撰稿技巧、播報技巧，以及媒體公關稿要訣，修習此課程的同學將與每日發生的新聞事件產生緊密連接，在課程進行中預測當天午間新聞的前三條重大新聞，同學於學期末需編寫一份刊物與錄製一段新聞片段，並在條件允許下邀請頂尖新聞從業人員（主播或者資深記者）與同學分享實務經驗，由於此課程是媒體「實務課」，因此強烈建議選修此課程的同學，加修理論面的「媒體與政治」。

This course is designed to train journalists and media public relations talents, providing headline skills, interview skills, writing skills, broadcasting skills, and media public relations drafting tips. Students who take this course will be closely connected with daily news events and predict the top three major news items in the noon news of the day during the course. At the end of the semester, students are required to write a publication and record a news segment, and if conditions permit, invite top news practitioners (anchors or senior reporters) to share practical experiences with students. Since this course is a "practical course" in the media, students who elect this course are strongly recommended to take the theoretical "Media and Politics."
