【課程內涵】
隨著環境保護意識的不斷提升，近年來在政治學領域當中，「環境政治學」成為熱門的研究題材。本課程的目標是引領學生認識環境政治學的內涵，並且閱讀相關的經典著作，以期增廣學習視野。
環境政治學是一門跨領域的學問，其背景知識主要來自「社會科學」與「自然科學」等兩大學門。本課程以紀登斯(Anthony Giddens)的《氣候變遷政治學》(The Politics of Climate Change)一書為主軸，將課程內容分成四個主題：一，環境政治學的內涵與研究概況；二，環境主義與環境正義；三，環境問題與人類社會（人類社會的覆滅、人類社會如何應對環境問題）；以及四，環境案例之研析（全球暖化、企業與環境、有毒物質汙染、海洋漁業資源耗竭）。除了閱讀主要讀物之外，本課程亦利用自編講義來補充其他專業知識。只要對環境政治感興趣，無論是否有基礎，均歡迎選修本課程。
【Course Connotation】
With the continuous improvement of environmental protection awareness, in the field of politics in recent years, "environmental politics" has become a popular research theme. The goal of this course is to lead students to understand the connotation of environmental politics, and read related classic works in order to increase their horizons.
Environmental and political science is a cross -domain science. Its background knowledge mainly comes from the two major doors of "social science" and "natural science". This course is based on Anthony Giddens's "The Politics of Climate Change" as the main axis, which divides the course content into four themes: first, the connotation and research overview of environmental politics; second, Environmentalism and environmental justice; third, environmental problems and human society (the annihilation of human society, how human society should deal with environmental issues); and four, research and analysis of environmental cases (global warming, enterprises and environment, toxic substance pollution, marine fishery, marine fishery Resource exhaustion). In addition to reading the main readings, this course also uses self -made lectures to supplement other professional knowledge. As long as you are interested in environmental politics, whether you have a foundation or not, you are welcome to take this course.
