本課程採專題討論方式進行,前半部偏向台灣電影美學理論及台灣文學史導覽,以播放多部影片片段方式進行交叉分析與比較;後半部則以分組報告互動方式,進行文字與影像在改編與詮釋之間異與同的深度論辯,同時訓練同學以文字表達個人意見的評論能力。期許本課程能開闊學生眼界,培養多面向的閱讀、鑑賞與獨立思考能力。「比較」是一種最基本的思考與批判,文學如是,電影亦然。從文字到影像,從本土到海外,從台灣到華語再到世界,本課程擬定以電影為主、文學為輔,打破傳統國族電影史系統性編年研究方式,透過不同時間、背景、產製脈絡的文學文本與電影文本間的對照與討論,藉以釐清電影、歷史和文化之間緊密複雜的關係,進而探討歷史本質、意涵及歷史實事、真相的建構方式。
本課程聚焦1970之後崛起的當代作家與導演,以台灣新電影為核心,前後輻射,從作者電影談到類型電影,遍及殿堂級經典以至大眾小說,兼談電視劇作及短片創作。尤其著重研討與鄉土文學關係密切之台灣新電影從興起到沒落,其時代意義與美學成就,並在學術理論深度研討之餘,訓練修課學生的影評撰寫文字表達能力。This course is carried out by a special discussion method. The first half is biased towards the guidance of Taiwan's film aesthetics and the history of Taiwan literature. It is analyzed and compared with multiple film fragments. In -depth arguments with different interpretations, and training students to express their personal opinions in writing personal opinions. It is expected that this course can broaden the vision of students and cultivate multi -faceted reading, appreciation and independent thinking skills. "Comparison" is the most basic thinking and criticism. From text to images, from local to overseas, from Taiwan to Chinese to the world, this course is planned to be film -based and literature, breaking the traditional annual editing research of traditional national film history. The comparison and discussion between the literary text of the pulse and the film text, in order to clarify the close and complex relationships between the film, history and culture, and then discuss the constructive method of historical nature, meaning and historical facts, and truth.
This course focuses on contemporary writers and directors that rose after 1970. With Taiwan's new films as the core, radiation before and after, from the author's movie to type movies, allocating classics and even public novels, and talked about TV series and short film creation. In particular, Taiwan's new films, which are closely related to local literary relations, have risen from the rise to decline. In addition to the in -depth discussions of academic theory, their film reviews have written ability to write writing skills.
