甘肅敦煌自古是中原通往西域絲綢之路上的重鎮，歷代以來，經歷多元文化的融合，使得敦煌藝術無論是繪畫、彩塑、服飾等，都反映出中西文化交流的社會風貌。除了豐富的創造力和想像力外，敦煌藝術還包含了儒釋道三教合一的圖像，呈現了歷代的社會生活情狀，是中國古代的重要文化遺產。
本課程透過選材講授及專題討論，輔以Power Point 及影片教材，引導學生深入瞭解敦煌藝術文化的重要內涵，擴充人文領域學習面向，厚植學生藝術鑑賞修養，並啟發現代文化創意產業開發靈感。Dunhuang in Gansu has been a heavy town in the Central Plains to the Western Region Silk Road since ancient times. Since the past, the integration of multiculturalism has made Dunhuang art reflect the social style of Chinese and Western cultural exchanges whether painting, colorful plastic, and clothing. In addition to rich creativity and imagination, Dunhuang art also contains the image of the three religions of Confucianism, Buddhism, Taoism, and Taoism, and presents the social life of the society of all ages. It is an important cultural heritage in ancient China.
Through the selection of materials and special discussions, this course, supplemented by Power Point and film textbooks, guide students to understand the important connotation of Dunhuang art and culture, expand the learning aspects of the humanities, and enlighten students' art appreciation, and inspire the development of modern cultural and creative industries.
