使同學瞭解票據法所規定之三種票據應記載事項，明辨票據債務人與各關係人應負責任，熟悉票據之轉讓、付款、追索等行為之法律意義，並區別三種票據之個別特殊規定。票據法規定匯票、本票及支票等三種票據，三種票據各有不同之適用時機。票據法將三種票據之共通事項規定於匯票章，而為本票及支票所準用，因此課程除介紹票據法通則外，將置重於匯票章之背書、到期日、付款、追索權、拒絕證書等單元。之後再依序介紹本票及支票之規定。

Each of the three instruments has different applicable timing. The Negotiable Instruments Law stipulates the common matters of the three types of instruments in the bill of exchange seal, which is applicable to promissory notes and checks. Therefore, in addition to introducing the general principles of the Negotiable Instruments Law, the course will focus on the endorsement, maturity date, payment, recourse, certificate of refusal and other units of the bill of exchange seal. Then we will introduce the regulations of cashier's orders and checks in sequence.

使學生瞭解我國票據法之演變、立法主旨及條款相互運用，並就有關事項，就判例銀行實務及各國立法判例加以比較，以比較相互之得失及立法之參考。
