課程目標 (Course Objectives)
理解「產品環境」(Product E nvironment)的意涵。由產品環境設計的視點,探討「產品」所放置 的「環境空間」,在環境空間中活動的「人」,三者間相互之關係,及其涉及生活文化層面的 關連性問題。本課程是以「食」為主題為研討方向,試求期能以有機的機能裝置為出發點,展開系統化的構想與設計。本課程探討食環境中工業設計之面貌,存在價值與被使用的方式。即道具-使用者-環境三者間的各種問題。利用實地觀察與體驗調查、使用者訪談,加上考慮風土氣候、生活習慣等因素進行分析,歸類整理,期間並邀請校外 專家演講與專題討論,最終提出設計或總合設計之提案。
課程內涵 (Course Contents)
工業設計教育以往重視單體 設計元素之教育,討論其構想製程材料等議題;但在此雲端網路與行動裝置趨於便利之際,工業設計已由單體設計發展到整合式的服務設計,工業設計的學習也必須更跨域的學習。近年來「食」的議題已是生活者非常關心與切身之議題,由友善土地種植開始到包裝運送,探討碳足跡、公平貿易,消費與廚餘、食物浪費、食物銀行等綠色消費、導入科技等議題,亦為本課程學習之內容。希望藉由專家演講、體驗學習、小組討論可以讓學生理解工業設計可以擔任的角色,更希望藉此理解生活環境之相關議題,由理解體認到自我反省並實踐。Course Objectives
Understand the meaning of "Product Environment". From the perspective of product environment design, we explore the "environmental space" placed in the "product", the "people" who are active in the environmental space, the relationship between the three and the related issues involving the cultural level of life. This course is based on the theme of "food" as the research direction, and we will try to develop the systemic structure and design based on organic functional devices. This course explores the appearance of industrial design in the food environment, the value and the way it is used. That is, various problems between props-users-environment. We use local observation and physical experience surveys, user visits, and factors such as consideration of local climate and living habits to analyze and sort out categories. During this period, we invite off-campus experts to give lectures and topic discussions, and finally put forward a proposal for design or general design.
Course Contents
Industrial design education has focused on the education of single design elements in the past, discussing the conceptual process materials and other issues; however, this cloud network and mobile devices tend to be convenient, industrial design has evolved from single design to integrated service design, and the learning of industrial design must also be more cross-domain. In recent years, the "food" discussion has become a topic that people are very concerned about and personally. It starts from friendly land planting to packaging and delivery, explores carbon footprints, fair trade, consumption and food waste, food banks and other green consumption, technology introduction, etc., and is also the content of this course learning. It is hoped that through expert lectures, experience learning, and group discussions, students can understand the roles that industrial design can play, and they also hope to understand the relevant topics of the living environment, from understanding the body to self-reflection and realization.
都市設計主要的目的之一,是提昇生活的品質,創造舒適的都市生活,讓市民感受到「生」的喜悅。為達此目的,都市的系統、空間中之各種設施必需要有全盤性的計畫調整與設計。換言之,都市設計是一種「關係的設計」,包含人與人、人與社會、人與產品、人與空間等多種綜和關係的一種設計活動。我們的生活環境中存在著各式各樣機能不同、使用目的不同的工業產品,這樣的環境稱為「人創造出的環境」(Man-made Environment),而產品與產品之間相互依存而形成之環境則稱可為「產品環境」(Product Environment)。因此,由產品環境設計的視點,探討「產品」所放置的「環境空間」,在環境空間中活動的「人」,三者間相互之關係,及其涉及生活文化層面的關連性問題,是為從事都市設計活動時不可或缺的課題之一。
都市空間由公共空間及私人空間所構成,其境界領域由法律規定的很清楚。但由實際觀察得知,空間使用者除了使用公共空間與私人空間以外,也使用其中間之領域從事各種活動。如商業區街道,會因空間使用者在公私空間之中間領域所從事的多樣性活動,及空間內一時設置要素的變化,改變其空間的環境條件,而影響一般人對其印象 (image)之良窳,甚至左右對地區整體印象之形成。在都市中,公共道具類之物品與住居環境均有高密度化的趨向。面對這些道具設施卻被定位於單純的都市構成部品。本課程是以這些道具設施為研討方向,試求期能以有機的機能裝置為出發點,展開系統化的構想與設計。
One of the main purposes of urban design is to improve the quality of life, create a comfortable urban life, and let citizens feel the joy of "life". To achieve this, the various facilities in the urban system and space must have full planning adjustment and design. Urban space is composed of public space and private space, and its realm is clearly stipulated by law. However, from actual observation, space users not only use public spaces and private spaces, but also use the areas in them to engage in various activities. For example, streets in commercial districts will change the environmental conditions of the space due to the various activities that space users engage in in the public and private spaces, and the changes in the space for a while, which will affect the general impression of their image, and even the formation of the overall impression of the region. In cities, items of public props and living environments have a high-density tendency. Facing these prop facilities, they are positioned as single pure urban components. This course takes these props and facilities as the research direction, and attempts to develop systemic structure and design based on organic functional devices.
