戰後台灣發展, 經歷光復初期去殖民化/國家建構（1950s-60s)、經濟起飛/鄉土意識發軔(1970s-80s)、全球化-地方化發展（1990s-)、以迄於今日眾聲喧嘩, 這是一相當獨特的成長經驗, 其相應的建築發展也呈現時代特質與在地主體、文化與生活、承傳與開創之多種糾結與融合, 其間各階段即是後殖民、冷戰/後冷戰、全球在地化等多種論述場域。 當我們說立足台灣時, 即意味著立足於台灣自己建構的論述, 這也是我們可與世界分享與溝通的論述, 以此才能知曉我們在哪裡/我們往何處去/我們的貢獻/我們的不足等提問的解答。
The development of Taiwan in the later stage of the war, decolonization/national construction (1950s-60s), economic development/country consciousness development (1970s-80s), globalization-localization development (1990s-), and the noise of today's public voices is a unique growth experience. The corresponding architectural development also presents a variety of convergences and integrations of the characteristics of the times and the local dominance, culture and life, inheritance and creation, The various stages are post-coloniality, cold war/post-cold war, global localization and other profiling fields. When we say that we are based in Taiwan, it means that we are based on our own construction. This is also a statement that we can share and communicate with the world, so that we can know where we are/where we go/our contributions/our shortcomings and other questions.
