戰後台灣發展, 經歷光復初期去殖民化/國家建構（1950s-60s)、經濟起飛/鄉土意識發軔(1970s-80s)、全球化-地方化發展（1990s-)、以迄於今日眾聲喧嘩, 這是一相當獨特的成長經驗, 其相應的建築發展也呈現時代特質與在地主體、文化與生活、承傳與開創之多種糾結與融合, 其間各階段即是後殖民、冷戰/後冷戰、全球在地化等多種論述場域。 當我們說立足台灣時, 即意味著立足於台灣自己建構的論述, 這也是我們可與世界分享與溝通的論述, 以此才能知曉我們在哪裡/我們往何處去/我們的貢獻/我們的不足等提問的解答。
The development of Taiwan in the later stage of the war, decolonization/national construction (1950s-60s), economic development/country consciousness development (1970s-80s), globalization-localization development (1990s-), and the noise of today's public voices is a unique growth experience. The corresponding architectural development also presents a variety of convergences and integrations of the characteristics of the times and the local dominance, culture and life, inheritance and creation, The various stages are post-coloniality, cold war/post-cold war, global localization and other profiling fields. When we say that we are based in Taiwan, it means that we are based on the arguments that we are constructed by Taiwan. This is also a statement that we can share and communicate with the world, so that we can know where we are/where we go/our contributions/our shortcomings and other questions.
