教育目標 Course Target

本課程探索數位媒材在建築設計、室內空間造型及其它裝置藝術等各種應用、表現與技巧原則,以3D模型軟體 (Rhinoceros) 及 (SketchUP) 為訓練核心,與其他數位工具混合運用練習,並涵蓋Computer Aided Design(電腦輔助設計)、Parametric Generation (參數生成)、Digital Fabrication(數位製造)等重要當代數位資訊概念。 課程重點包括對數位工具的整體性了解,掌握數位思考(Computational Thinking)與類比思考模式的概念差異,訓練數位工具技術,廣泛涉獵當代數位建築相關發展,進一步加強學生對建築圖學與表現的深入認識。This course explores various application, representation and skill principles of digital media in construction design, indoor space styling and other device art. It uses 3D model software (Rhinoceros) and (SketchUP) as the training core, and uses it with other digital tools to practice, covering important contemporary digital information concepts such as Computer Aided Design, Parametric Generation, and Digital Fabrication. The course focuses on the overall understanding of digital tools, mastering the conceptual differences between Computational Thinking and genre thinking patterns, training digital tool technology, and extensively focusing on the development of contemporary digital architecture, further enhancing students' in-depth understanding of architecture diagrams and performance.


課程概述 Course Description

本課程主要著重在學習與探索數位媒材在建築設計上的各種表現技巧與原則,透過3D應用軟體(SketchUp, Rhinoceros)及其他數位工具(Photoshop, Illustrator)的混合運用練習,以及系統性地引介當代建築師如何運用數位表現法的設計案例,讓修課同學熟悉基本數位技法和溝通原則來整體呈現建築設計概念、過程以及結果,修課學生須先具備AutoCAD 2D繪圖的基本能力;另外,課程最後也試圖引介當今建築專業領域中,電腦輔助設計與製造(CAD/CAM)如參數式設計(Parametric Design)、數位構築方法(Digital Fabrication Process)與運算式設計(Algorithmic Design)等的新發展趨勢,如何影響新建築形式的探索與實踐。
This course focuses on learning and exploring various performance techniques and principles of digital media in construction design, through 3D application software (SketchUp, Rhinoceros) and other digital tools (Photoshop, Illustrator's hybrid operation practice and systematically introduce design cases of how contemporary architects use digital representations, so that students in the course are familiar with basic digital techniques and communication principles to present the overall architecture design concepts, processes and results. Students in the course must first have AutoCAD The basic ability of 2D drawing; in addition, the course also attempts to introduce new development trends in today's architectural professional field, computer-assisted design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM) such as Parametric Design, Digital Fabrication Process and Algorithmic Design, etc., how to influence the exploration and implementation of new building forms.
