本課程旨在協助學生從學校社會工作發展脈絡、歷史、社會變遷之關係、理論觀點中,探究學校社會工作之專業發展、角色與工作內涵之實務,以及學校社會工作之倫理議題、困境、挑戰與展望。輔以目前台灣學校社會工作實施現況,融合實務議題帶領學生更貼近校園議題現場,搭配社會工作方法進行操演、討論與省思學校社會工作之價值與內涵。This course aims to assist students from the school's social work development context, history, social changes, and theoretical views. 簡單來說「學校社會工作」就是將社會工作專業運用在以學校為基礎的生態系統中,協助學生及系統中的人都能得到適當的發展機會。《國民教育法》為學校社會工作進入校園輔導網絡提供了法源依據,也為學校社工啟動了專業制度化的發展契機。學校環境提供社會工作專業一個獨特的運作環境,藉由學校社工師與學校團隊成員及社區生態系統間的資源相互合作,往往能對學生及其所屬的家庭、學校帶來更適切的幫助。
