音樂的起源是儀式，神聖的；然後是政治，奢侈的；至於它是否普及？狹義地看，肯定是沒有；廣義地看，也不敢肯定……

透過不同的主題與不同音樂的欣賞，我們試著探索在音樂之內，建構音樂本身與作曲家自身的可能故事與內涵，並深入了解在音樂之外，作曲家想要傳達的訊息與關懷。如果每一個社會，每一個故事都能當作一個基音，那麼它便能發出自然或非自然的許多泛音，直到我們意識之外的遙遠。

Liszt said: Music is a kind of science, such as algebra; it is also a psychological language that only those who are accustomed to its poetry can understand.
Through the appreciation of different themes and different music, we try to explore the possible stories and connotations that construct the music itself and the composer himself within the music, and gain a deeper understanding of the message and care that the composer wants to convey outside of music. If every society and every story can be regarded as a fundamental tone, then it can emit many overtones, natural or unnatural, far beyond our consciousness.
