本課程之主軸是智慧型手機與Android/iPhone程式設計，待學生學得這些技術後，我們將引導其邁向雲端服務與環境。本課程之首要目標就是讓學生孰悉Android和iPhone/iOS之程式設計技術，設計若干實作題目，俾使學生除了了解理論的內容，更能實際進行智慧型手持式裝置的實作與雲端服務的相關知識，對學生不僅就業或是繼續研究均有實質的幫助。本課程期中考前將以Java程式與Android程式架構為主，iPhone/iOS部分則屬於概念性的介紹。期中考後將透過實務操作的方式，讓學生在兩款行動裝置上實際進行程式設計，包括: Android SDK，Android感應器裝置與GPS，連接Android與雲端平台，另外也教授HTML5程式設計與 Facebook 應用程式之開發。目的在讓學生於Android與iPhone/iOS上直接進行程式設計與系統開發之練習，並結合手持式裝置應用與雲端服務環境，透過幾個簡單的案例說明與操作，引發學生對這兩種作業平台及這兩種技術與環境的興趣，並進行程式與系統的開發。

The main focus of this course is smartphone and Android/iPhone programming. After students learn these technologies, we will guide them towards cloud services and environments. The primary goal of this course is to familiarize students with the programming technology of Android and iPhone/iOS, and to design a number of practical questions so that students can not only understand the theoretical content, but also practice the implementation of smart handheld devices and related knowledge of cloud services, which will be of practical help to students not only for employment or further research. Before the mid-term exam, this course will focus on Java programming and Android programming architecture, while the iPhone/iOS part will be a conceptual introduction. After the midterm exam, students will be able to practice programming on two mobile devices through practical operations, including: Android SDK, Android sensor device and GPS, connecting Android and cloud platforms, and also teach HTML5 programming and Facebook application development. The purpose is to allow students to directly practice programming and system development on Android and iPhone/iOS, and to combine handheld device applications and cloud service environments. Through several simple case explanations and operations, students will be interested in these two operating platforms and these two technologies and environments, and develop programs and systems.
