This course takes plants as an example to introduce important theories of ecology, deepen students' understanding of ecological theory, and cultivate students' ability to think independently and critically think about ecological theory through learning the basic principles of plant ecology. This course introduces the history of plant ecology, important principles of plant populations, clusters and ecological ecosystems. This course will also adopt the teaching method of translating the classroom to cultivate students' ability to think independently. To cultivate students' ability to conduct independent research on plant ecology, each student must choose a research topic, propose a hypothesis, conduct field or hot room experiments, and conduct oral reports at the mid-term and end of the period.
