課程目標： 引介學生認識近代哲學的形成背景以及其重要哲學家之學說。
課程內涵： 本課程內容分成兩大段落，上半段內容包含自文藝復興時期至啟蒙運動時期的重要哲學家思想，主要是介紹理性主義與經驗主義。下半段之內容主要介紹康德以降的德國哲學，並兼論迄至19世紀末的重要哲學家思想及其時代精神之轉變。Course objectives: Introduce students to understand the formation background of modern philosophy and the academic statements of important philosophers.
Connotation of the course: The content of this course is divided into two major paragraphs. The content of the first half contains the important philosopher's thoughts from the period of literary rejuvenation to the period of inspiration and Mongolian movement, mainly introducing rationalism and experience. The content of the second half mainly introduces German philosophy since Kant, and also discusses the changes in the thoughts of important philosophers until the end of the 19th century and their contemporary spirit.
