１．社会やコミュニティの問題を知り、活動の企画（コミュニティを知り、交渉をする）を教師と協働で行う。
２．企画に基づき、日本サイトとの連絡をとりあって準備をすすめ、企画を遂行する。
３．必要に応じて、台湾のコミュニティの人たちの話を聞くための準備をする。
４．テーマについてさまざまな方法で調べて理解を深める
５．さまざまな人がいる活動の中で責任をもって仕事をし、意志の伝達を図る。また初めて参加する人ともコミュニケーションを密にとり、新しい人間関係を築きながら問題解決を行う。今年は台中をフィールドに、社会企業に携わる人々がなぜ、どのように現在の仕事をしているのか、仕事にはどんな成果や困難があるのかを学ぶ。今年は、東海大学、愛知大学、人間環境大学の学生30名と教師6名の参加が予定されている。

台湾のさまざまなコミュニティとそこにいる人々に会うために、海外から参加する大学生たちとともに混成チームを組み、教室の外に出かける。コミュニティでの奉仕活動や様々な活動に参加し、いっしょに考え、行動して活動の成果（学んだこと）をコミュニティの関係者や他の学生たちに報告する。
尚、本課程は本大学の学生（外系を含めた1年生から4年生まで）と協定を結んだ海外の大学の学生が共同に参加する授業であり、海外の協定校の学生に対しては、協定に基づき成績表を発行する。
