本課程著重讓學生運用學過的基礎文法達到學會以下數項溝通方面的目標。另外,聽解能力乃能達成溝通的關鍵,因此本課程也會透過考試的方式要同學自行練習聽解。
1.陳述或介紹跟自己相關的事情(介紹自己、家人、朋友、嗜好、對未來的計畫)
2.向對方詢問所需的情報(情報內容、狀態、及課堂上的提問與說明)
3.與對方有互動關係的對話(招呼、邀約、請託、拒絕、致歉)
4.應對上某些程度已屬於約定俗成的對外溝通(預約、購物、點菜或訂購東西)
5.陳述自己對事物的感想、意見。
