They are part of history, remembering people and things, or reflecting the material culture at that time. The Western academic community has a deep and extensive knowledge of this. This course will introduce the latest knowledge. For example, ancient Greek sculptures are often made of colorful colors rather than what Johann Joachim Winckelmann (1717-1768) said, "high single purity and quiet magnitude." The course will present the art product’s relationship with society at that time, and use Google Earth to mark the location or location of the art product. The course will also point out how the style and elements of ancient Greek Roman art influence later and contemporary art.
