本課程旨在介紹明、清兩朝政治制度的建立、發展過程與相異之處，並且說明若干影響政治制度調整的事件與人物，藉此討論中央與地方政府機構的建置、國家權力的運作、中央政策下達與地方的應變，以及人事關係與政策的推行等議題，提供修課同學深入了解明、清朝政治機構的運行與政治制度的變化，繼而認識其與今日民主政治的差別，並且思考現今國家政策的走向與政治人物的言行。This course aims to introduce the establishment, development process and the differences between the political system of the Ming and Qing dynasties, and to explain several events and figures that affect the adjustment of the political system, so as to discuss the establishment of the central and local government institutions, the operation of national power, the response of central policies and local policies, as well as personnel relations and policy implementation, and provide students with in-depth understanding of the operation and changes of the political institutions of the Ming and Qing dynasties, and to recognize the differences from today's democratic politics, and to think about the trend of the current national policies and the words and deeds of politicians.
