Views on the Cultural and Creative Industry in Taichung

教育目標 Course Target

本課程旨在導引學生認識台中在地文創產業之多樣性與多向性,是聯合來自東海大學不同院系之教師,所開發架設的跨領域課程。課程內涵橫跨「市、農、工、賞」四大領域,分別探討市場與市集、植栽與園藝、資訊與電產、劇場與影像等主題,授課人員包括工設系李俐慧老師、景觀系鄒君瑋老師、資工系周忠信老師,以及外文系蔡奇璋老師。透過主題講演、討論與實地走訪、採集等操作模式,本課程不僅將引進台中文創業界與地方文史單位的專職人員,和授課教師共同輪番講解台中文創發展現況,而且還會帶領學生走出校門,實際探訪近在咫尺、與其生活息息相關的市場、電子街、小農市集,或戲院劇場等創產空間,期許學生能在教室內的正規學習之外,積極檢視台中整體文創產業的動能。

課程目標:

1. 引導學生認識文創產業之實質內涵
2. 帶領學生走訪台中在地文創工作場域
3. 強化學生跨域思考、動手實作的能力
4. 建立校內與校外文創力之互惠交流管道

This course aims to guide students to understand the diversity and multi-dimensionality of the local cultural and creative industries in Taichung. It is an interdisciplinary course developed in conjunction with teachers from different departments of Tunghai University. The content of the course spans the four major areas of "city, agriculture, industry, and appreciation" and explores topics such as markets and bazaars, planting and gardening, information and electronics, theater and imaging. The teaching staff includes teacher Li Lihui from the Department of Engineering Design, teacher Zou Junwei from the Department of Landscape, teacher Zhou Zhongxin from the Department of Engineering, and teacher Cai Qizhang from the Department of Foreign Languages. Through keynote lectures, discussions, on-site visits, collection and other operating modes, this course will not only introduce full-time personnel from Taichung's cultural entrepreneurship community and local cultural and historical units to take turns to explain the current development of Taichung's cultural entrepreneurship with teachers, but also lead students Go out of school and actually visit the markets, electronic streets, small farmer's markets, theaters and other creative spaces that are close to you and are closely related to your life. We hope that students can actively examine the momentum of Taichung's overall cultural and creative industry in addition to formal learning in the classroom.

Course objectives:

1. Guide students to understand the essential connotation of cultural and creative industries
2. Lead students to visit local cultural and creative work sites in Taichung
3. Strengthen students’ abilities in cross-domain thinking and hands-on practice
4. Establish a mutually beneficial exchange channel between on-campus and off-campus cultural and creative forces
