臺灣四面環海皆位於熱帶亞熱帶地區，海洋資源豐富。海洋淺海地區及海岸的生態系，如：濕地、紅樹林及珊瑚礁等都是海洋重要的研究場所。本課程在介紹基礎海洋生態系調查，並且透過文獻閱讀來了解目前的研究方向，最後學生將進行實驗設計並在野外進行調查和資料分析及論文撰寫。今年預計利用週五及週末（三天）行程去墾丁野外進行田野調查。因此需要有游泳能力，有浮潛和潛水經驗為佳。Taiwan’s seas are located in the popular area of hot Asia, with abundant marine resources. The ecological systems of the ocean and coastal areas, such as wetlands, red trees and coral reefs, are important research sites for the ocean. This course introduces the basic marine ecology survey and learns the current research direction through literature. Finally, students will conduct experimental design and conduct surveys, data analysis and essay writing in the field. This year, we are planning to use our Friday and weekend (three-day) trips to Kanting for field surveys. Therefore, it is best to have swimming ability, floating and diving experience.
