本課程為一學年之課程，其目標在培養碩專班學生之中西哲學基本知識與能力，引導學生能專就一個專題來進行閱讀與思考，並學習將所學的內容與方法綜合應用於學期報告中，以為日後研究奠定基礎。
本學期之教學內容以西方哲學為主，授課教師可就任一專題設計課程，範圍囊括以下四個時期之哲學：（1）古希臘哲學；（2）中世紀哲學；（3）現代哲學；（4）當代哲學。

This course is a year-long course. Its goal is to cultivate the basic knowledge and abilities of Chinese and Western philosophy among students in the course of savvy, to guide students to read and think about a topic, and to learn to apply the content and methods learned to the study in the study period report in order to lay the foundation for future research.
The teaching content of this period is mainly Western philosophy. The teaching teachers can design the courses for any topic, covering the following four periods of philosophy: (1) Ancient Greek philosophy; (2) Middle Ages philosophy; (3) Modern philosophy; (4) Contemporary philosophy.

This course is a course in one year (the teaching content in the first period is mainly Western philosophy, and the teaching content in the next period is mainly Chinese philosophy).
