Animal Genetics and Evolution
教育目標 Course Target
1. 配合高中基礎生物下冊第四單元內容，讓同學學習遺傳學實驗技巧，並藉由實驗結果印證孟德爾與摩根的遺傳學理論，並讓同學學習基本的動物(大麥蟲/麵包蟲、恐龍蝦與果蠅)飼育技巧，培養進行活體實驗時之細心與耐心。延伸課程由東海大學教授授課，除果蠅染色體觀察外，帶入分子生物學課程。
2. 透過動物飼養繁殖的實驗，讓同學了解族群特徵，並透過演化實驗、桌遊的引導，了解動物演化原理與過程；延伸課程由東海大學教授授課，帶入族群遺傳學、演化與生態課程。
1. In conjunction with the content of the fourth unit of the second volume of high school basic biology, students are allowed to learn genetics experimental techniques, and the experimental results are used to confirm the genetic theories of Mendel and Morgan. Students are also allowed to learn basic animal (barley worms/mealworms, dinosaur shrimps and fruit flies) breeding skills, and cultivate care and patience when conducting in vivo experiments. The extended course is taught by professors from Tunghai University. In addition to the observation of Drosophila chromosomes, molecular biology courses are also introduced.
2. Through animal breeding and breeding experiments, students can understand the characteristics of ethnic groups, and through the guidance of evolutionary experiments and board games, they can understand the principles and processes of animal evolution. The extended courses are taught by professors from Tunghai University and include courses on population genetics, evolution and ecology.
