教育目標 Course Target

台灣的教育制度與華人的考試文化,讓多數高中生未認真思考學習的意義,在學習上習慣被動與他律,並且以考上大學作為學習和努力的唯一目標。這樣的學生進入大學後,相當可能因為缺乏自我管理的能力或失去明確的學習目標,無法善用大學的時間及學習機會,進而經歷失敗與挫折。因此,如何幫助學生認識自己的優勢,找到學習的目標,啓動他們的學習動力,以全新、正向的觀點看待自己的生命價值與學習的旅程,成為一項非常重要的工作。成功的大學生活取決於第一年經驗,包括如何協助新生適應新環境、新的人際關係以及與高中全然不同之教學與學習方式等新挑戰,成為新生定向輔導重要的工作。本課程以新生大一年定向及學生在學期間學習自我探索及突破進行兩階段規劃設計,藉由正式課程、非正式課程與文化氛圍之潛在課程三層面影響力,培育理想的大學生。希望能藉此課程協助剛從高中畢業的學生度過剛入大學時的憧憬不安、轉換環境的焦慮,進而學會善用大學的時間與學習機會,全面啟發新生成長動能、建立學生關懷體系,全方位幫助新生安心學習。課程執行方式則是透過自我探索的「定向營」;認識自我、了解他人的「VSAI」;以及突破自我的「體驗營」來幫助新生建立關係發現自我,從探索自我的價值,找到學習的意義,觸發學習的動機,並建立與他人的合作互動關係。希望藉此課程幫助新生認識大學的價值,引導新生自主思考與學習。本課程除了由校內外教師所組成之教學團隊外,並將搭配受過培訓的課程小助教來活化教學方式,引導學生獨立思考、激發學習動能,期望學生能擁有自主學習的精神與素養,盡速融入大學生活,進而建構個人之生命意義。

Taiwan's education system and the Chinese examination culture have caused most high school students to not seriously think about the meaning of learning, become passive and heterogeneous in learning, and regard getting into college as the only goal of study and hard work. After such students enter college, they are likely to experience failure and setbacks because they lack the ability to self-manage or lose clear learning goals, making them unable to make good use of college time and learning opportunities. Therefore, how to help students understand their own strengths, find learning goals, activate their learning motivation, and view their own life value and learning journey from a new and positive perspective has become a very important task. Successful college life depends on the first-year experience, including how to help freshmen adapt to new challenges such as the new environment, new interpersonal relationships, and teaching and learning methods that are completely different from those in high school. This has become an important task for freshman orientation guidance. This course is planned and designed in two stages, based on first-year orientation for freshmen and students' self-exploration and breakthrough during the semester. It cultivates ideal college students through the three-level influence of formal courses, informal courses and potential courses of cultural atmosphere. It is hoped that this course can help students who have just graduated from high school overcome the anxiety of entering college and the anxiety of changing environments, and then learn to make good use of time and learning opportunities in college, fully inspire the growth momentum of freshmen, establish a student care system, and help freshmen study with peace of mind in an all-round way. The course is implemented through "Orientation Camp" for self-exploration; "VSAI" for self-understanding and understanding of others; and "Experience Camp" for self-breakthrough to help freshmen establish relationships and discover themselves, explore their own value, find the meaning of learning, trigger learning motivation, and establish cooperative and interactive relationships with others. It is hoped that this course will help freshmen understand the value of university and guide them to think and learn independently. In addition to a teaching team composed of teachers inside and outside the school, this course will also be paired with trained teaching assistants to activate the teaching methods, guide students to think independently and stimulate learning motivation. It is expected that students can have the spirit and quality of independent learning, integrate into university life as soon as possible, and then construct their own personal meaning of life.
