繪畫與電影是兩種看似屬性各異、相互關係卻密不可分的視覺藝術形式。本課程試圖為這兩種藝術搭起對話的橋樑,並在它們所帶來的不同視覺衝擊中,尋思繪畫的觀看邏輯,如何在電影中繼續延伸;或是電影作為第八藝術的獨特性,如何進一步拓展繪畫的詮釋空間;或是電影如何成為動態的繪畫,使兩種藝術形式能相互交融、激盪。本課程藉由繪畫與電影藝術的認識與作品賞析,並透過性別、博物館、社會政治等專題討論,與學生共同探索繪畫與電影兩種不同視覺藝術媒介的思維邏輯、呈現方式、與相互關係。Painting and movies are two seemingly different forms of visual art that are closely related to each other. This course tests the picture sets up a bridge of dialogue for these two arts, and in the different visual impacts they bring, they think about how the viewing logic of paintings continues to extend in the movie; or how the movie, as a unique feature of the eighth art, further expands the space for paintings; or how the movie becomes an dynamic painting, so that the two artistic forms can blend and inspire each other. This course uses the recognition and analysis of painting and film art, and discusses topics such as gender, museums, and social politics, to explore the thinking logic, presentation, and relationships between two different visual art media in painting and film.
