本課程預計達到下列課程目標：
1. 由介紹消費者保護法之理念出發，循序說明法條內容，俾建立同學對消費者保護法之基本認識。
2. 結合具體之消費糾紛案件，俾同學得以進一步了解消費者之權益及義務所在。

於吾人日常生活中，食、衣、住、行、育、樂等為達生活目的之行為，皆涉及消費。由此顯見：消費者保護之開展，不僅有助於保障人民健康、提升其生活福利，且對於社會經濟之發展亦具有重大影響。以臺灣言，係於1994年1月11日公布消費者保護法，其間於2003年、2005年、2015年歷經數次修正。時至今日，包括如：網路普及致交易型態發生巨大轉變，因此衍生出不同面向之消費糾紛、或近年來陸續爆發之重大食品安全事件等，在在凸顯消費者保護工作與時俱進、以及消費者對於自身權益所在有所認識之必要性。
為使同學能夠系統性的掌握消費者保護法之架構，本課程除由教師講解該法之現行制度內容與發展方向外，並擬配合介紹具體之消費糾紛案件，以檢視理論運用於實務之狀況、及理論與實務之間的落差等。

This course is expected to achieve the following course objectives:
1. Start by introducing the concept of consumer protection law and explain the content of the law in order to build students' basic understanding of consumer protection law.
2. Combined with specific consumer dispute cases, students can further understand the rights and obligations of consumers.

In our daily lives, food, clothing, housing, transportation, education, entertainment and other behaviors to achieve the purpose of life all involve consumption. It is obvious from this that the development of consumer protection not only helps protect people's health and improve their living welfare, but also has a significant impact on social and economic development. In Taiwanese, the Consumer Protection Law was promulgated on January 11, 1994, and was revised several times in 2003, 2005, and 2015. Today, including: the popularity of the Internet has led to huge changes in transaction patterns, resulting in different aspects of consumer disputes, or the major food safety incidents that have broken out in recent years, etc., these have highlighted the need for consumer protection to keep pace with the times and for consumers to be aware of their own rights and interests.
In order to enable students to systematically grasp the structure of consumer protection law, this course not only has teachers explain the current system content and development direction of the law, but also plans to introduce specific consumer dispute cases to examine the application of theory in practice and the gap between theory and practice.
