「超級台中!」計劃中,將由Parametric/ Urbanism 兩方向同時進行。一方面由規劃歷史、土地分區、都市空間、建築模型、地景設計、居民使用等種種層面,分析呈現綠園道環帶的背景脈絡、建築現狀與空間層次。另一方面同時研究當代都市資訊與數位媒材的整理表現方法,視覺化呈現綠帶系統與都市空間的各種面向與關係。此設計題目將以資訊化的系統理解,Landscape/ Ecological Urbanism 的當代思維,結合資料運算、數位幾何、地景操作、系統置入、空間設計等方法,重新活化綠園道之系列地景,成為積極參與都市空間的超級系統。都市是一種超級系統!當有形的建築操作侷限於小販為街區基地,大範圍都市規劃是無形的使用限制,則空間尺度介於兩者之間的「超級系統」真正造就了城市的空間組織,建構起我們認之城市的方式。台中的超級系統,有向心格狀街區的歷史、台中港路/台灣大到的貫串、屯區重劃的開發計畫,以及常被遺忘的環狀園道綠帶等等。
台中綠園道系統近二十條,總長度約二十公里(約等於台灣大道全長),連接十餘處重要文化機構與開放空間,幾乎完整環繞既有城區一周(圍合面積約有七期之三倍半大小),同時也劃分了其內的傳統重心(中區)與其外的當代開發(屯區與重劃區)。園道規劃在1950年代即近完備,直到1988年興闢,1996年全線告成,跨越東南西北四區,經過文教、住宅、商業與工業區段,綠化設計與空間使用有許多歧異姿態。可惜的是,除了大家熟悉的草悟道與美術園道之外,其餘園道區域少為一般市民重視,多為居民鄰里綠地使用。綠園道空有整體都市的規模,而未發揮超級尺度的都市空間意義。"Super Taichung!" In the plan, it will be carried out simultaneously by Parametric/ Urbanism. On the one hand, the background structure, building status and space levels of the green park road are analyzed and presented by planning history, land division, urban space, building models, landscape design, and residential use. On the other hand, we also study the collation and representation methods of contemporary urban information and digital media, and visually present various aspects and relationships between green belt systems and urban space. This design topic will be based on information-based system understanding, contemporary thinking of Landscape/Ecological Urbanism, combining data calculation, digital geometry, landscape operation, system placement, space design and other methods to reactivate the series of landscapes of the green road and become a super system that actively participates in urban space. The city is a super system! When tangible building operations are limited to small buildings as street bases, large-scale urban planning is an intangible use restriction. The "super system" between the space scales has truly created a city's space organization and constructed the way we think of the city. Taichung's super system includes the history of the Centenary Street, the great links of Taichung Port Road/Taiwan, the development plan of the Tun District re-plan, and the often forgotten green belt of the park road, etc.
The Taichung Green Garden Road system has nearly 20 pieces, with a total length of about 20 kilometers (about the entire length of Taiwan Avenue), connecting ten important cultural institutions and opening spaces, and is almost complete. The existing urban area is one week (the area is about three and a half times the size of seven periods). At the same time, it also divides the internal traditional center of gravity (central area) and the external contemporary development (tun area and heavy planning area). The park road plan was almost completed in the 1950s, until it was in full swing in 1988 and was completed in 1996. It spanned the four regions in the south and northwest, and went through cultural and educational, residential, commercial and industrial zones. There were many different attitudes in green design and space use. Unfortunately, in addition to the familiar grass enlightenment and aesthetic park path, the area of the park path is rarely valued by ordinary citizens and is mostly used in green areas in residents' neighborhoods. Green Road has the overall urban scale, but it has not yet developed the meaning of super-scale urban space.
