① 認識建築創作 ― 與其他工程學科相比，建築透過形式處理感知；與其他藝術相比，建築要求實用、公共的考慮，更必須透過技術手段，因應環境及物理因子。建築創作的主要挑戰，在於如何有意識的演繹創作理念，跟上列課題對話，完成設計。
② 學習基礎建築操作 ― 直白的看，「建築」就是在以上前提之下，布置物質[實體]，創造空間[虛體]，供人生活。[program] 本學期的設計練習，將會循序漸進，幫助同學掌握基礎的建築操作，[尺度、包被、開闔、光影、顏色、材質…] 以及建築組構的基本課題與方法。[機能、結構、序列、節奏、層次…]
③ 熟練設計思考媒材 ― 設計是一種思考的過程，為了實現前述的創作歷程，我們必須熟練方法與媒材/工具，在不同層次[抽象/具體]進行想像、模擬、核對；[概念 ⇄ diagram/notation ⇄ 2D/正交投影三視圖 ⇄ 3D/模型/透視/數位模擬 ⇄ 整體形象] 我們的創作，才可能真正的落實。
④ 練習計劃建立紀律 ― 二年級以後，設計所處理的問題會越來越複雜，內容持續累加，圖模製作的工作量越來越大。因此，同學們必須對自己的工作乃至生活，進行計劃，以掌握效率、減少失誤；更必須建立紀律的工作與生活模式，才能有效的落實你/妳的計劃。① Understand architectural creation - Compared with other engineering subjects, buildings are treated and perceived through form; compared with other arts, buildings require practical and public considerations, and must be based on technical means to meet environmental and physical factors. The main challenge in architecture creation is how to intentionally perform the creative concept, keep up with the above topic dialogues, and complete the design.
② Learn basic building operations - To be honest, "architecture" means to arrange material [reality] under the above premise, create space [virtual] for people to live. [program] The design practice during this period will progress step by step, helping students master basic building operations, [scale, quilting, opening, light and shadow, color, material...], and basic topics and methods of building structure. [Function, structure, sequence, rhythm, layer...]
③ Be proficient in designing and thinking about media - Design is a process of thinking. In order to realize the aforementioned creative process, we must be proficient in methods and media/tools, and imagine, simulate, and verify at different levels [abstract/specific]; [Concept ⇄ diagram/notation ⇄ 2D/orthogonal projection three-view diagram ⇄ 3D/model/transparent/digital simulation ⇄ Overall image] Only when our creation can we truly implement it.
④ Practice planning to establish rules - After the second grade, the problems handled by the design will become more and more complex, the content will continue to accumulate, and the workload of modeling will become greater and greater. Therefore, students must plan their work and even their lives to master efficiency and reduce mistakes; they must also establish a regular work and lifestyle to effectively implement your plan.
