教育目標 Course Target

本課程介紹人文學院科目的基本論文寫作原則,主要的寫作參考工具,以及如何將這些觀念運用在樂曲分析與音樂史的研究報告上。上學期的課程分成二大部分:1)圖書館資源、主要的參考工具書、電子資料庫(如‭ ‬Music Index, JSTOR, Grove Music Online, Naxos);2‭) ‬剽竊抄襲的定義、寫作學術論文參考書目的格式。下學期我們將把這些理論應用在實際的寫作上,如短篇的研究報告、樂曲解說及摘要。 This course introduces fundamental research methods, principles of citation, and basic research tools. A core course for first-year undergraduate, music majors, it lays the theoretical foundation of research methods necessary for academic writing in various disciplines in the humanities. Equally importantly, it links the research method and writing skills in question to the writing of music, helping students to express and organize their arguments in a professional way. This course introduces the basic principles of writing in subjects in the Humanities Academy, the main writing reference tools, and how to use these concepts in the research report on music analysis and music history. The courses in the previous period are divided into two parts: 1) library resources, main reference tool books, electronic databases (such as Music Index, JSTOR, Grove Music Online, Naxos); 2) definition of plagiarism and format of writing academic paper reference books. In the next period, we will apply these theories to actual writing, such as short research reports, misinterpretations and abstracts. This course introduces fundamental research methods, principles of citation, and basic research tools.
