課程目標
社會福利導論是一門極為重要且基礎課題，直接影響著每個人的生命歷程，社會工作學系學生學習是助人專業的知識與技術，則社會福利是一門不可或缺且必須熟讀的課程，社會福利與社會工作是相互為用，以社會福利理論來了解政府、社會與福利三者的關係，將使社會工作的實務運用更具自我反省的能力與意識，而社會工作的實地經驗的驗證，也將可使社會福利理論的內義更加豐富與完整，期望透過活潑教學與清晰的詮釋，讓同學對社會福利產生濃厚的興趣並對社會福利的概念有通盤的認識與了解。

課程內涵
社會福利導論的課程內涵，將包括社會福利的基本概念、主要國家社會福利發展歷史、社會福利的價值與思想、社會福利組織人員、社會福利的給付、社會福利的財務制度、社會福利的輸送、經濟安全、福利服務等，屬於社會福利基本概念知識的認識與全盤性探討。

Course objectives
Introduction to social welfare is an extremely important and basic subject that directly affects everyone's life course. Students in the Department of Social Work study the knowledge and skills of helping people, so social welfare is an indispensable course that must be familiarized. Social welfare and social work are mutually beneficial. Social welfare theory is used to understand government, society and welfare. The relationship will make the practical application of social work more capable and conscious of self-reflection, and the verification of field experience in social work will also make the inner meaning of social welfare theory richer and more complete. It is hoped that through lively teaching and clear interpretation, students will have a strong interest in social welfare and have a comprehensive understanding of the concept of social welfare.
