教育目標 Course Target

本課程由世界貿易組織(WTO)主導的自由貿易政策在全球化時代下的發展為主軸,探討這些政策對國際社會,特別是經濟強國與弱國之間的關係,以及對台灣等的政治、經濟、貿易、民生、文化、環保、食安等衝擊與影響。課程名稱定為「WTO與全球化議題」有兩個層面的意涵,WTO凸顯的是1950年代迄今的國際主流自由貿易思維,以及在這個趨勢下的區域性經濟整合,故這個部份的重點多為經貿、政治與法律性議題,這其中也包括對於台灣處境的分析。而全球化議題則試圖從文化、環境、安全等偏向人文與人本的議題,對自由貿易的主流價值進行反思。課程設計上,由WTO之全球性貿易自由政策的縱軸出發,並經由逆向思考的方式引導與啟發,使學生逐步瞭解與掌握隱含在國際優勢國家之商業利益下之社會意義與時代意涵,繼而具體化成對於本土文化與社會人文議題的關懷;並使學生在無形間成熟其閱讀、觀察、反省、分析等思考能力。 透過WTO、全球化、區域性整合、台灣議題、文化省思等議題的介紹與討論,本課程預期的目標有三,第一為培養同學的當代國際觀,讓同學對WTO與全球化等對國際社會與台灣的意義有相當的瞭解;第二為透過具體議題,培養逆向觀察與深刻思考的能力;第三是在地思維與多元關懷,特別是對於台灣政經難題與國際社會的弱勢族群在全球化時代的困境。本課程的核心內涵包括二部分,即(1)WTO體系在全球化時代的意義,特別是在自由貿易縱軸下的國際經貿現況與區域整合策略,這部分的內容較為側重國際政治、經濟與法律議題,與台灣現階段的經貿困境;(2) 在全球化架構下的弱勢族群、在地思維、食安、文化、環保等議題的困境與意義,這部分的內容較為側重於人文面向的省思。This course is dominated by the development of free trade policies under the era of globalization led by the World Trade Organization (WTO), and explores the impact and impact of these policies on international society, especially between economic and weak countries, as well as on politics, economy, trade, people's livelihood, culture, environmental protection, food safety, etc. on Taiwan and other countries. The course name is defined as "WTO and Globalization Question" and has two layers of implications. The WTO highlights the mainstream international free trade thinking to date in the 1950s and the regional economic integration under this trend. Therefore, the focus of this part is mostly on trade, political and legal issues, which also includes an analysis of the situation in Taiwan. The globalization discussion questions reflect on the mainstream value of free trade from culture, environment, security and other issues that tend to be humanistic and humanistic. In terms of course design, the WTO's global trade freedom policy is developed and guided and initiated by reverse thinking, so that students can gradually understand and master the social meaning and contemporary implications implicated in the commercial interests of internationally advantaged countries, and then specifically transform it into concerns about local culture and social humanities issues; and enable students to mature their thinking abilities such as reading, observation, reflection, and analysis invisibly. Through introduction and discussions on WTO, globalization, regional integration, Taiwan issues, cultural reflection and other issues, there are three expected goals in this course. The first is to cultivate contemporary international view of classmates, so that classmates can learn to international society and Taiwan for WTO and globalization. There is a considerable understanding of the meaning of the Bayan; the second is to cultivate the ability to observe in reverse and think deeply through specific issues; the third is to think locally and diversified, especially the dilemma of weak groups in Taiwan's political problems and international society in the era of globalization. The core connotation of this course includes two parts, namely (1) the meaning of the WTO system in the era of globalization, especially the current and regional integration strategy of international trade under the free trade axes. The content of this part is more about the trade dilemma of international politics, economy and legal issues, and the current stage of Taiwan; (2) the difficulties and meaning of weak ethnic groups under the globalization structure, local thinking, food safety, culture, environmental protection and other issues. The content of this part is more about the reflection on the humanistic aspect.


課程概述 Course Description

通識課程不同於專業課程,實乃著重引導學生主動關懷、探索與實踐人類的終極價值與智慧;同時通識課程所提供的知識,不是專業課程的淺薄化,而是具有厚實感的基礎知識。本校根據創校傳統、校訓與辦學理念訂定通識教育定四大基本素養:求真素養、篤信素養、力行素養與宏通素養,以具體落實本校通識教育之理想。希望本校學生能發揮自主學習精神,在通識課程老師的引導下,逐漸培養其通識教育基本素養,並期待能終身學習。各種基本素養並訂有具體的學習成效指標,以做教學與學習成效之自我檢證的具體指標,分述如下:求真素養(自然領域):1.學習自然科學的方法或哲學以探索物理與生命世界的微妙,2.發揮就事論事的精神,3.能參與科學議題相關的公共事務。篤信素養(人文領域):1.學習人文精神以探索內在自我與領會人類文明的深層價值,2.發展自律精神,3.能運用理性進行道德推理。力行素養(社會領域):1.運用社會科學的方法或哲學以激發學生的傾聽與溝通能力,2.承認與尊重多元差,3.實踐民主審議的精神。宏通素養(跨領域):1.追求人類的整體價值,2.融通求真、篤信、力行等素養於個人生命之中。各領域的課程對於學習成效指標可以跨選,不必拘泥。
The general course is different from the professional course, and it focuses on guiding students to actively care, explore and understand the ultimate value and wisdom of human beings. At the same time, the knowledge provided by the general course is not the purity of the professional course, but the basic knowledge with a strong sense of reality. Our school has established four basic qualities for general education based on the concept of creating school traditions, school training and management: seeking truth, trustworthiness, striving for general education, and implementing the ideal of general education in our school in a specific way. I hope that students of this school can develop the spirit of independent learning, and under the guidance of general course teachers, they will gradually cultivate their basic qualities of general education, and look forward to finally learning. Various basic qualities are cultivated and have specific indicators for self-verification of teaching and learning results. They are divided into the following: Truth-seeking and nourishing (nature domain): 1. Learn the methods or philosophy of natural sciences to explore the subtleties of physics and the world of life, 2. Develop the spirit of doing things, 3. Be able to participate in public affairs related to scientific topics. Relief and nourishment (humanity field): 1. Learn the humanistic spirit to explore the deep value of inner self and leading human civilization, 2. Develop self-discipline spirit, 3. Be able to use rationality to conduct moral reasoning. Practice and cultivate (social field): 1. Use social science methods or philosophy to stimulate students' listening and communication skills, 2. Accept and respect for diversity and differences, 3. Realize the spirit of democratic review. Hongtong basic cultivation (cross-domain): 1. Pursuing the overall value of human beings, 2. Integrating truth-seeking, trustworthiness, and action in personal life. Courses in various fields can be selected across learning performance indicators without being restricted.
