There are many different types of democratic politics, including referendum democracy, representative democracy, major democracy, consensus democracy, constitutional democracy, and deliberative democracy. However, no matter what type of democracy, it must operate based on the elected congress, and the congress (legislative agency) must be the center of the power of a democratic government. In democratic politics, the law must be formulated by the people's elected congress. The congress uses the law to make the authoritative value distribution for the entire society. Therefore, the rule of democratic politics must be based on the majority support of the congress. This course aims to introduce the disputes about democracy and their relationship with other democratic types, in order to provide students with relevant political knowledge and analytical and discriminatory abilities and public services.
