Learn how social science studies how to study surrounding, related, and interesting topics, what the process, what the method is, how to collect data, how to analyze, how to examine, how to study or perform, and how to make preliminary conclusions on research, and how to continue to track and extend research goals.
本課程旨在訓練政治系同學在計量研究上的理論與實務，以便於未來無論在學術上或實務上瞭解社會、政治及經濟現象的本質，並能知道如何針對實際問題，提出研究計畫並實地從事蒐集資料，進一步分析得出結論。本課程主要分為四大部份：經驗研究的基礎；研究的設計與結構；資料的蒐集；資料的統計與分析。
This course aims to train the theory and practice of students in the Department of Political Science in the field of measurement, so that they can understand the essence of social, political and economic phenomena in the future, whether they are academically or practically, and can know how to identify actual problems, propose research plans, and actually collect data from time to time, and draw conclusions from further analysis. This course is mainly divided into four major parts: the foundation of experience research; the design and structure of research; the collection of data; the statistics and analysis of data.
