The intent of this course is to bridge the gap between engineering theory and practice. Students will be exposed to various aspects involved in designing a chemical process. Equipment design, process feasibility, economics, and safety issues will be addressed.

本課程以化工設計案例實作來介紹製程設計,探討包括設備與製程設計,製程經濟效益等課題,目標乃在強化大四同學運用化工專業核心知識的訓練,以及提升同學製程分析及工程設計方面的能力。
This course introduces process design with chemical design case practices, explores topics including equipment and process design, economic benefits of process, etc. The goal is to strengthen the training of the core knowledge of the senior students in the use of chemical engineering, and improve the students' ability in process analysis and engineering design.
