1. The purpose of this course is to discuss the current situations and limitations of the structure and functions of various groups of animals with evolution as the core. From the ears of elephants, we discuss why we have a fish in our bodies and why spotted horses won’t get stomach upset? From forests to civilization, the evolution of human bodies and the emergence of diseases are inevitable for different adjustments between biological evolution and civilization evolution.
2. Establish basic concepts of animal physiology, including: fixed concepts, positive and negative feedback control mechanisms in the animal body. By using the content of human physiology as the basis, we discuss the operation of various physiological mechanisms; and then strengthen the concept by taking the examples of various animals. After discussing various physiological systems, students will have the ability to prepare the basics of physiological knowledge and be able to read popular science magazines such as Scientific American, physiological-related articles.
3. Can you understand how spider silk is produced? What is the bat's reply positioning? Is Fengnian aphrodisiac the strongest impulse regulator on the surface? If your skin is like a pineapple, applying a facial mask is useful.
