課程目標:
介紹神經系統之基本構造、功能和研究方法,訓練學生分析實驗數據及整合歸納能力,培養學生對神經科學之認知和理解,以及口述報告之能力。
課程內涵:
動物的神經系統一向是科學家們汲汲於研究及解密的課題,也是生物醫學研究中快速發展的領域之一。本課程是為大學部高年級所開設,課程中有許多討論的機會。修習之學生應當於每次上課之前自行閱讀課程章節,方可增進神經系統知識之吸收。學生並將分組閱讀指定之教材內容,並在課堂上講解所分配到之章節。本課程將在學期中研習神經系統的構造與功能,並在細胞的層級詳細探討神經傳導物質和神經突觸在結構與功能之間的關係,神經元細胞內與細胞之間訊息傳遞的分子機制,最後在神經迴路的架構上探討神經系統如何整合及運作。此外,部分的神經系統疾病案例將以影音型式呈現。Course Target:
Introduce the basic structure, functions and research methods of neural systems, train students to analyze practical data and integrate learning abilities, cultivate students' knowledge and understanding of neuroscience, and their ability to oral reports.
Course content:
Animal neural systems have always been a subject that scientists are eager to research and decipher, and are also one of the areas of rapid development in biological medical research. This course is designed for senior colleges in the university department, and there are many discussion opportunities in the course. Students who practice should read the courses and rules by themselves before taking classes each time, so as to enhance the absorption of neural system knowledge. Students will be divided into the designated textbook content and explain the assigned chapters in the class. This course will study the structure and function of the neural system during the study period, and explore the relationship between neuronal conduction materials and neural intercourse in the structure and function at the level of the cell, the molecular mechanism of information transmission between neuronal cells and cells, and finally explore how neural systems integrate and operate in the structure of the neural circuit. In addition, some cases of neural system disease will be presented in audio and video.
