《禮記》是傳統儒家哲學的重要文獻之一，其中的〈大學〉、〈中庸〉自宋代後，與《論語》、《孟子》並稱《四書》，其影響自不待言。本課程擬選讀其中的〈禮運〉、〈孔子閑居〉、〈樂記〉、〈學記〉、〈仲尼燕居〉五篇，重點指向「禮」之本義，與其他相關哲學思想。本課程帶領學學生逐章逐句講解，以深入文本，分析其中涵義與問題，鍛鍊學生研讀原典與把握哲學問題之能力。

The Book of Rites is one of the important documents of traditional Confucian philosophy. The Great Learning and Doctrine of the Mean have been called the Four Books together with The Analects and Mencius since the Song Dynasty. Their influence goes without saying. This course plans to read five of them: "Liyun", "Confucius' Leisurely Life", "Legends of Music", "Records of Learning", and "Zhongni Yanju", focusing on the original meaning of "ritual" and other related philosophical thoughts. This course guides students through chapter-by-chapter and sentence-by-sentence explanations to deepen the text, analyze its meaning and problems, and train students' ability to study original texts and grasp philosophical issues.
