《禮記》是傳統儒家哲學的重要文獻之一，其中的〈大學〉、〈中庸〉自宋代後，與《論語》、《孟子》並稱《四書》，其影響自不待言。本課程擬選讀其中的〈禮運〉、〈孔子閑居〉、〈樂記〉、〈學記〉、〈仲尼燕居〉五篇，重點指向「禮」之本義，與其他相關哲學思想。本課程帶領學學生逐章逐句講解，以深入文本，分析其中涵義與問題，鍛鍊學生研讀原典與把握哲學問題之能力。

"The Book of Songs" is one of the important literatures of traditional Confucian philosophy. Among them, "The Great Learning" and "The Doctrine of the Mean" have been called "The Four Books" since the Song Dynasty. The impact of "The Book of the Discourse" and "Mencius" is beyond words. This course selects five chapters: "Treunion", "Confucius's Residence", "Lecture Notes", and "Chongni Yanju", which focus on the basic meaning of "Treunion" and other related philosophical thoughts. This course leads students to explain chapter by chapter, sentence by sentence, to in-depth text, analyze the meaning and problems, and to strengthen students' ability to read original scriptures and grasp philosophical problems.
