本課程為大一的必修課程，課程目標在於喚起同學們學習哲學的興趣，並奠定良好的學科基礎。因此，課程的規劃將從引導學生認識哲學的意義與內容開始，逐步帶領學生認識哲學的方法與價值。緊接著，將逐步介紹倫理學、知識論與形上學的重要內容。在有前述的基礎之後，本課程將引導同學們學習科學哲學、社會與政治哲學、藝術哲學以及宗教哲學等重要的理論，使得同學們在學習此課程之後，具備哲學的基礎知識與能力。This course is a compulsory course for freshman year. The purpose of the course is to raise the students' interest in learning philosophy and lay a good foundation for academics. Therefore, the course planning will start from guiding students to understand the meaning and content of philosophy, and gradually lead students to understand the methods and values of philosophy. Then, the important contents of ethics, knowledge theory and metaphysics will be gradually introduced. After the aforementioned foundation, this course will guide students to learn important theories such as scientific philosophy, social and political philosophy, art philosophy and religious philosophy, so that students will have the basic knowledge and abilities of philosophy after learning this course.
本課程將以哲學基本問題為主軸，循序漸進地介紹倫理學、知識論與形上學的基礎概念與理論。課程中將引導學生們學習如何以哲學的思維及語彙合理地思考與論證，培養學生們運用哲學理論與批判反思的能力。上述能力的養成，將有助於學生們高年級專業課程的學習。
This course will focus on basic philosophical problems and introduce basic concepts and theoretical discussions in ethics, knowledge and metaphysics step by step. During the course, students will be guided to learn how to reasonably think and demonstrate with philosophical thinking and language, and cultivate students' ability to use philosophical theory and critical reflection. The cultivation of the above abilities will help students learn advanced professional courses.
