Upon satisfactory completion of this course, students will be able to do the following:
1. Use the terminology of film, or terms specific to cinema, to discuss and analyze film in an intelligent and knowledgable manner.
2. Analyze film techniques to get an understanding of and appreciation for film as an art form.
3. Understand the problems, as well as opportunities, involved in adapting literary works into film.
