本課程之目標係以訓練法律人於面對現今法律實務及法學研究之全球化之趨勢時，應具備之基礎法學英文聽說︑讀︑寫之能力，透過課程訓練與練習，加強對法學英文的熟悉度及運用，以助日後從事國際法學研究或實務之能力。本課程包含基礎法學英文聽︑說︑讀︑寫全方位之研習，此學期的法學英文精選特定領域的法
學文章，以充實基礎法學英文字彙，輔以美國判例之研讀與撰寫摘要，加強法學英文讀與寫的
能力︒於法學聽力之訓練上，配合課程之進度依據法學領域之討論，選取相關法律報導加以聽
力訓練︒另於法學英文陳述上，加強同學以英文表達研究領域之議題與學術討論的能力︒

The goal of this course is to train legal professionals to acquire basic legal English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in the face of today's globalization trends in legal practice and legal research. Through course training and practice, they can enhance their familiarity and use of legal English to help them engage in international legal research or practice in the future. This course includes all-round study of basic legal English listening, speaking, reading and writing. This semester’s legal English selects legal topics in specific fields.
Study articles to enrich basic legal English vocabulary, supplemented by reading and writing summaries of American jurisprudence, and strengthen legal English reading and writing skills
