本課程之目標:(1)引介學生研讀與討論有關網路倫理之文章,(2)訓練學生對網路倫理之哲學基礎進行反思,(3)要求學生就網路倫理議題進行實務個案分析。
本課程之內容:由於電腦網路技術之突飛猛進,讓今日之社會環境產生巨大的轉變,從而也造成了諸多以往未曾思考過的倫理議題,包括網路中的個人隱私、知識產權、資料安全、人我關係等等。網路倫理學(cyberethics / internet ethics)即是因應此科技發展而新興的一門應用倫理學,試圖去了解與解決網路科技對當今人類生活帶來的迫切挑戰、甚至嚴重威脅。本課程除引導學生探討網路環境下的使用者與供應商之諸般道德議題之外,亦促使其能進一步反思網路程式設計對於社會和個人層面所產生的影響以及此中涉及的責任問題。
The objectives of this course: (1) introduce students to study and discuss articles about Internet ethics, (2) train students to reflect on the philosophical foundations of Internet ethics, and (3) require students to conduct practical case analysis on issues of Internet ethics.
Content of this course: Due to the sudden and rapid development of computer network technology, today's social environment has undergone a huge change, which has also caused many ethical issues that have not been thought about in the past, including personal privacy, knowledge rights, data security, and human-to-person relationships on the Internet. Cyberethics / internet ethics is an application ethics that is new to this technological development. Try to understand and solve the urgent challenges and even severe threats that network technology brings to human life today. In addition to guiding students to explore the general ethical issues of users and suppliers in the Internet environment, this course also encourages them to further reflect on the impact of network programming on social and personal levels and the responsibility issues involved.
