教育目標 Course Target

本課程之目標:(1)使學生通過細讀原典以深入掌握遊戲之本質以及其與文化之關係。(2)引導學生對日常生活中的遊戲經驗進行哲學反思與分析。(3)透過課堂討論與書面報告以培養學生哲學思辯分析之能力。 本課程之內涵:遊戲是人類存有的一個重要現象。赫伊津哈(Johan Huizinga, 1872-1945)在1938年出版《遊戲的人》(Homo Ludens)一書,主張遊戲是形塑人類文化的原初要素。此書自出版後,成為文化史研究之歷久不衰的經典,甚至對於今日的遊戲研究(game studies)依舊具有一定程度的啟發性與影響力。譬如當代德國哲學家高達美(Hans-Georg Gadamer)在《真理與方法》(Wahrheit und Methode)裡論及遊戲的存有結構時,肯定赫伊津哈在《遊戲的人》一書中洞察到存有與遊戲的本質性關係。法國哲學家休維爾(Stéphane Chauvier)在《什麼是遊戲?》(Qu'est-ce qu'un jeu?)一書中,儘管對赫伊津哈的遊戲觀有所批評,但他自己所分析出來的遊戲本質性特徵大部分也都已在《遊戲的人》裡被揭露出來。僅僅由此即可看出,該書確實仍有其值得深入研讀之價值。本課程將以該書作為主要文本,並佐以補充當代相關論述,以助學生能更正面地理解遊戲之真諦。The objectives of this course: (1) Enable students to thoroughly understand the essence of the game and its relationship with culture by reading the original texts. (2) Guide students to reflect on and analyze game experiences in daily life. (3) Cultivate students' philosophical thinking and analysis through class discussions and written reports. The meaning of this course: Games are an important phenomenon of human existence. Johan Huixinga (1872-1945) published the book "Homo Ludens" in 1938, and the protagonist of the game is the original element in shaping human culture. Since its publication, this book has become a timeless classic in cultural history research, and even has a certain degree of inspiration and influence on today's game studies. For example, when contemporary German philosopher Hans-Georg Gadamer discussed the existence structure of the game in "Wahrheit und Method", he affirmed that Heyzinha had seen the essence of existence and the game in "The Man of Games". French philosopher Stéphane Chauvier in "What is a game?" In the book Qu'est-ce qu'un jeu?, although he criticized Heizinha's game view, most of the essential characteristics of the game he analyzed have been revealed in "The Man of Games". It can be seen from this only that the book is worthy of in-depth study. This course will use the book as the main text and will be supplemented with contemporary related commentary to help students understand the true story of the game more positively.
