萊布尼玆 (Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz 1646-1716)是十七世紀著名的德國哲學家，也是系統介紹中國文化與思想到歐洲的第一人。中西文化交流與互動，哲學思想比較之產生，萊布尼玆當可作第一人想。本課程主要根據他的 “Discourse on the Natural Theology of the Chinese([論中國人的自然神學])以及其他「中國著作」(writings on China)，了解萊布尼玆根據中國哲學提出來的自然神學觀。

Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz (1646-1716) was a famous German philosopher in the 17th century and the first person to systematically introduce Chinese culture and thought to Europe. Leibniz can be the first person to think about the exchange and interaction between Chinese and Western cultures and the comparison of philosophical thoughts. This course is mainly based on his "Discourse on the Natural Theology of the Chinese" ([On the Natural Theology of the Chinese]) and other "writings on China" to understand Leibniz's view of natural theology based on Chinese philosophy.
