—、本課程分前後兩段，兩人合授。「經典小說閱讀與寫作」部分，將以當代小說深受其影響的三部作品：卡夫卡《蛻變》短篇小說集、馬奎斯《百年孤寂》、三島由紀夫《金閣寺》作為課程主幹，分別進行三個子題的討論：（一）短篇小說的技藝，（二）迷宮的擘製，（三）小說作者的世界。並各自佐以當代華文小說作品參照閱讀。
二、「經典詩劇與詩劇場」，藉由希臘悲劇到史詩劇場到當代長詩，閱讀與創作長詩，並以跨界創作演出「詩劇場」以體現創作的另一種可能。閱讀的文本為《美迪亞》、布萊希特《高加索灰欄記》、林耀德《軍火商韓鮑》，在閱讀與討論後，試寫長詩，並改為詩劇演出，為文學與劇場之跨界閱讀與創作。

—This course is divided into two parts, front and back, taught jointly by two people. In the "Classic Novel Reading and Writing" section, three works that have been deeply influenced by contemporary novels: Kafka's "Metamorphosis" short story collection, Marquis's "One Hundred Years of Solitude", and Mishima Yukio's "The Temple of the Golden Pavilion" will be used as the backbone of the course. Three sub-topics will be discussed: (1) The craft of short stories, (2) The making of a labyrinth, and (3) The world of the novel author. And each is supplemented by contemporary Chinese novels for reference reading.
2. "Classic Poetic Drama and Poetic Theater", from Greek tragedy to epic theater to contemporary long poems, reading and composing long poems, and performing "Poetry Theater" with cross-border creations to reflect another possibility of creation. The texts read were "Media", Brecht's "Gray Column in the Caucasus", and Lin Yaode's "Arms Dealer Han Bao". After reading and discussion, I tried to write a long poem and changed it to a poetry drama performance, which was a cross-border reading and creation of literature and theater.
