一、該課程在系所的定位宋明理學專題為中文所課程四大群組中的「學術思想組」，為本所之選修課程。二、所教授的專業能力本課程所教授者屬於宋明時代學術思想專業研究能力之培養。三、授課內容： 1.北宋儒學專題 2.濂溪理學思想專題 3.橫渠理學思想專題 4.二程理學思想專題 5.邵雍理學思想專題 6.朱子理學思想專題 7.象山理學思想專題 8.陽明理學思想專題 四、課程的教學目標：本課程目的在訓練學生具備對宋明兩代在理學思想方面的研究能力。本課程包括約100個小子題，可以提供學生在思維及研究上的啟發。
