1. Students will improve their ability to express their opinions through writing and speaking. There are two writing assignments during the course. You will also have the chance to speak English each class and to perform an English drama near the end of the semester.
2. Students will gain a basic understanding of many of the famous stories of N.T. Bible. By the end of this course, you will be familiar with most of the important people in the New Testament.
3. Students will gain a better understanding of some common English expressions that come from the N.T. As we study these stories, you will learn how some of the words and phrases are used in English today.In this course, we will study some of the more famous stories of the New Testament. We will follow the course schedule that lists the stories for each week. Please read the stories which are assigned for the week in the order they are listed before you come to class. Then we will review the stories and discuss them together in class. You will have the chance to use all four major English skills in this course (reading, listening, writing, and speaking).1.
